What are some practical ways that we can engage our small group to think of "Work as Worship"?
The first thing that comes to mind is a song I sung in a musical back in the 90s The chorus started with "Whatever you do, do it with all your heart." Turns out that that is from Colossians 3:23-24. The next verse states that we ought to do the work as if we were doing for God Himself (who knows the heart). I feel that, as we do work unto God (with humans being the beneficiaries), that work done with a right heart attitude is an act of worship.
I praise the Lord for this streaming service, something HIGHLY needed, and it's my prayers that the Lord Our God continue to bless the Donors and every single actor/employee! Thank you...
Thank you Pedro! This is so very meaningful to myself and the team at Redeem TV. We covet your prayers and are so very grateful to be able to provide this service. God bless!
And there is Eph 2:10 "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
When we DO those good works (listed or described in the Bible, and put into our heads by the Spirit), we are doing what He created us to do -- and that surely pleases Him. Is that not worship?
