History • Documentary
The Last Objectors is a documentary about Canada’s conscientious objectors in the Second World War – those who chose to perform alternative service instead of going to fight. The tenets of their faith led thousands of Mennonite, Quaker, Hutterite and other CO’s to opt for work in forestry camps, hospitals, asylums and other positions around the country with little pay and no benefits.
