Pasărea tells the story of two young people who meet one another at a very dark moment in their lives. Vera is a young Romanian woman who has been lied to, hurt, trafficked, and ultimately forced into prostitution. Jon is a young Spanish man who has suffered a major loss in his life, and it's his desire to escape reality that leads him to Vera.
