The Legend of Islamaria

Four children meet a Princess from Islamaria, a country thought to be only a legend. They follow the princess back to Islamaria. Before the Islamrians discover the children are there, they decide to find a way to go back home. So, they can escape home, one child stays behind to distract the Islamarians while the rest of the children go home.

Director Biography - Mia
Mia is in ninth grade and is a homeschool student from Texas. She taught herself video editing and enjoys making movies with her friends.
Mia loves dolphins, drama, fencing, horseback riding and volunteering in the 1st and 2nd grade girls' room at church. She also has loved reading the Keeper of the Lost Cities series and loves performing in musicals and plays. Someday, Mia would like to be in a Broadway play, a movie, direct her own play or train dolphins.

Director Statement
Two years ago, Mia had the idea to make her own movies with her siblings and friends. She learned how to film, edit video, use a green screen and add music and special effects to her movies.
Mia hopes you will enjoy this short movie she filmed, directed and edited herself. She also wrote the screenplay with a little help from her brother.
