David is running for his life, on the run from King Saul who is determined to kill him. David goes from place to place, hiding out and being discovered, again and again. Over time other men join David; men who are also threatened by Saul. This group of men grows in numbers from 400 to 600. But hiding from King Saul and his army of 3000 soldiers is extremely difficult; David is not alone. Several times King Saul closes in on David, but heaven provides an escape very time. At one point David gets the chance of surprising King Saul; a chance to actually kill the king, but David choses not to do so. When David shows the King how he could have killed him, Saul is deeply shaken…
